Boston, MA

Built in 1863, the 47,000 square foot, Italian Renaissance palazzo-style building originally housed the Museum of Natural History before becoming the home to retailers Bonwit Teller and Louis Boston. Owner WS Development undertook the renovation in 2011 to return the building to its former grandeur, including complete restoration of the lost architectural elements that make it unique. Universal’s 400 Fixed Series helped WS Development achieve a Preservation Achievement Award from the Boston Preservation Alliance in 2013.
